Minutes of 3rd July Planning Committee Print E-mail
1. MEMBERS PRESENT
Cllr. Mrs Whitmore (Chairman), Cllr. Bates, Cllr. Mrs Browning, Cllr. Bryans, Cllr. Dix, Cllr. Mrs Landmann, Cllr Worth and 11 members of the public.  The Clerk Mrs Maddison was in attendance.

2. TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE FROM MEETING
None

3. DECLARATIONS OF CLLRS. PREJUDICIAL OR PERSONAL INTERESTS IN THE BUSINESS HEREUNDER
Cllr. Bates declared a personal and prejudicial interest in Planning Application No. 06/01378/FUL

4. OPEN FORUM FOR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC TO SPEAK
Cllr. Bates left the room.  Several members of the public voiced concerns and objections to the woodland burial site application.  Amongst their concerns was additional traffic, the possibility of whether the site could contaminate the water and the need for such a burial site was queried in view of the parish sites having adequate room.  

5. PLANNING APPLICATION DECISIONS FOR INFORMATION ONLY
06/01162/FUL - Two storey side extension and detached double garage with additional room to 1 Wybridge, Keysoe - Permission Refused
06/01050/FUL - Erection of replacement dwelling at Janet's Place, Kimbolton Road, Keysoe - Permission granted.

6. PLANNING APPLICATION FOR DISCUSSION
06/01378/FUL - Change of use of land to woodland burial ground with associated car parking and extension to roadway and formation of new footpath at College Equestrian Centre, Church Road, Keysoe - Following discussions and taking into account the views expressed by members of the parish present, it was resolved with 4 in favour to oppose this application due to increased traffic using Church Road, lack of evidence to show a need for this application in the parish and possible water contamination.

7. CLOSE OF MEETING
There being no other business the Chairman closed the meeting at 19:45 hours.
