An extraordinary meeting of Bolnhurst and Keysoe Parish Council will take place at Keysoe Village Hall  at 7.30pm on Monday 6th August, 2007

07/01664/FUL - Erection of dwelling and conversion of barn to garage at Hope Acres, London End, Keysoe Row East, Keysoe, MK44 2JD
07/01956/FUL - Proposed first floor extension to garage to create a games room at Brooke House, Kimbolton Road, Bolnhurst, Beds, MK44 2EX
07/01973/FUL - Demolition of existing building and erection of detached chalet bungalow at The Mission Hall, Kimbolton Road, Bolnhurst, Beds, MK44 2EL

5. RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENT OF NEW CLERK

6. LETTER FROM THE VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE REGARDING THE LOCK ON THE GATE NEAR THE SHEDS AND THE PERTRUDING OVRFLOW PIPES

7. PROPOSALS FOR THE INSPECTIONS, UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE RECORDS OF THE PLAYING FIELD
  • Duty of Care – Occupiers liability act/Care to the public - Health and safety at work act/ duty of care to staff.
  • Risks, Hazards - what are the differences.
  • Accident and Inspection Log books - where are they kept, who is responsible for them.
  • Inspections – Weekly general, Monthly, Quarterly equipment operation. Must be logged, performed by whom and when? WHO acts on problems reports?
  • Risk assessment – Must be carried out, by whom, do we need a standard form?
  • Reportable events – we need a procedure that allows accidents to be reported, to whom, how?
  • Identification Badges – Are they necessary, to whom should they be issued? How do we get them and what info should be on them?
  • Litter – bins and removal? Environmental Act applies
  • Dogs – More signs are required. How do we enforce ban, we must have powers through Borough? Environmental act must apply!
  • Notices - For the playing field, Dogs, No smoking? What types? Phone numbers/ contact persons.
  • Insurance – Who is responsible for what? Particularly when the Hall is hired out!
  • Spraying Weeds – we need someone with COSHH certification!
  • Grass cutting – Is the playing field closed during this operation, do we need a notice saying so?
  • The Gate – Is the longer gate to be kept locked?
