New Laws Surrounding Child Car Restraints
Although, not related solely to Bolnhurst and Keysoe, Bedfordshire Police have asked us to publise a change to the laws surrounding child car restraints, which are being tightened up in September 2006 in a bid to save up to 2,000 child casualties every year.
Although Keysoe had an uncontested Parish Councillor election result, the residents of Bolnhurst yesterday had the opportunity to vote for their Parish Council representatives. The results where that Margaret Whitmore and John Ward were both "elected" and will be asked to accept the office of Parish Councillor at the next Parish Council meeting.

For those of you in Keysoe wondering why you hadn’t yet received biographies for your new prospective Parish Councillors yet, we have the answer. Keysoe has already had an “uncontested result” because exactly the same number of applications were made as there are vacancies for the Keysoe Ward.
