First Respnoders provide vital 'first aid' until the ambulance arrives
A group of volunteers are aiming to set up a local First Responder Scheme in Bolnhurst and Keysoe.

A First Responder Scheme is made up of volunteers who have been trained to attend NHS emergency calls & provide that vital 'first aid' until the ambulance arrives.

A volunteer needs to pass a training course, have access to a car ad be prepared to undergo regular refresher training. They can be any age from 18, provided they are fit and can drive a car.

Training is provided by St John Ambulance and is free to all volunteers.

If you are interested in joining the group please contact Bob Bryans on 01234 708 815 or Carole Turner on 01234 708 708 for further details.
