This year there is a new class for all the family. Make a scarecrow that can be viewed from the roadside and win the Wurzel Trophy.

A special entry form and additional rules apply to this competition, which are detailed below:

  1. The scarecrow must be hand made, not purchased.
  2. It must be the work of ONE family, but there is no restriction on the number of family members taking part.
  3. It must be no less than three feet high, and no more than six feet high.
  4. It can be made of any material(s).
  5. It must be in a position such that it can easily be seen from the public highway, but does NOT have to be in the ground. If you do not live in Keysoe please contact Penny Fleming (01234 378878) and you will be allocated a site.
  6. The scarecrow must have a name.
  7. All exhibits must be in position by 10am on FRIDAY 10th September.
  8. The exhibit must remain in position until Monday 13th September.
  9. There is no limit to the number of entries per family but each one must be accompanied by a separate form and fee of 20 pence.
  10. The prize winner(s) will be announced at the show at approximately 4.30pm.
