The beginners class The Karate club, which trains at Margaret Beaufort School in Riseley, is a small, thriving group with a healthy mix of children and adults of differing ages and abilities and would be happy to see others join them. They welcome new students, who are able to go through a Beginners Course. Ladies especially welcome There is no real upper age limit and one of the instructors themselves did not start training until he was 35. One of the members recently took their first grading at the age of 50+. Karate is an excellent way to keep fit, gain confidence and can help with weight loss.
